Casino Royale

It may not be the best Bond movie out there, but it most definitely is the best Bond. At the risk of being painted with a pink brush I have to say I love Daniel Craigs' Bond. Confident but not condescending. Aristocratic yet non-arrogant. Cocky with out conceitedness.

Is a definite improvement to the prissy, pompous, poncy Pierce. Daniel Craig is most definitely a brilliant casting choice. Will dare say that he will out shine Sean Connery.Dont get me wrong Sean Connery is pretty high on my list of top actors.
But Daniel Craig brings a style and finnesse to Bond that will have Ian Flemming bursting into hymn over.Half hit man half monk.Blood and sweat with the invinciblity.

As for the movie itself, I will not get into details other than to say if you expecting a typical Bond movie don’t watch it. On the other hand if you enjoy a changing tide then go out and watch it as soon as possible. With healthy dosages of action, romance, suspense and the most agonizing torture scene for any guy watching, it will keep you entranced for lengthy 144 minutes.

Eva Green also rocks the boat of “James oh, James” with her portrayal of Vesper Lynd. Sassy, sexy, intelligent and with a healthy dose of sarcasm she is the perfect rose to Bond’s thorn.

There are quite a few brilliant lines in the movie. Have included some of my favorites:

James Bond: Vodka-martini.
Bartender: Shaken or stirred?
James Bond: Does it look like I give a damn?

Vesper Lynd: If the only thing left of you was your smile and your little finger, you'd still be more of a man than anyone I've ever known.
James Bond: That's because you know what I can do with my little finger...

Vesper Lynd: Am I going to have a problem with you, Mr. Bond?
James Bond: No, don't worry, you're not my type.
Vesper Lynd: Smart?
James Bond: Single.

Do have one issue with Daniel Craig. Where ever did he learn to run? He has one of the most unnatural gaits I have ever seen. A’la Kristanna Loken in her role as TX in T3.You have to see it to understand I reckon.

Have my fingers crossed and my hopes up to seeing many more returns of the blue eyed blonde Bond.Doubt I will be let down.

i've heard nothing but good things about this movie: it being more bond than gadget, more spy than gloss.
